Mental Health Services
At Safe Passage, we recognize the profound impact trauma can have on a child’s emotional and psychological well-being. Our mental health services are designed to provide compassionate, evidence-based support to children, adolescents, and their families as they navigate the healing process.
Our licensed therapists specialize in trauma-focused care and are experienced in working with children and adolescents who have experienced abuse, neglect, or other forms of trauma. Our goal is to provide a safe, nurturing space where children feel heard, supported, and empowered to heal. We offer a range of services tailored to meet each child’s unique needs, including:
- Crisis Intervention: Immediate support for children and families in distress, ensuring safety and stabilization.
- Individual Counseling: One-on-one therapy sessions to help children process their experiences, develop coping skills, and build resilience.
- Family Therapy: Support for caregivers and families to foster healing, strengthen relationships, and promote a safe and supportive environment.
- Trauma-Informed Care: Evidence-based interventions designed to address the effects of trauma and promote emotional well-being.
- Play Therapy: A specialized approach for young children to express emotions, process experiences, and develop healthy coping strategies.
- Eligibility: Please note that our mental health services are exclusively available to children and families who are already receiving other services at Safe Passage. At this time, we do not offer counseling services to the general public.
