Helping children and families begin to heal from sexual abuse takes a multidisciplinary team of professionals. Our team works also with community outreach organizations, faith-based organizations and schools to ensure that the best interests of children are being served. Safe Passage offers training to professionals involved with curbing the child abuse epidemic through the following programs: Community Outreach Program Brown Bag Round Tables promote increased competency and raise awareness for people working with children and families affected by abuse. Faith-Based Outreach Program Safe Passage works with faith-based organizations to increase awareness about screening, hiring, supervision, and volunteer recruitment practices. Safe Passage helps educators and administrators know how to identify and report child abuse. Speaker's Bureau Safe Passage's Speaker’s Bureau is available to provide education for organizations and groups about sexual abuse.
