Western Regional Children's Advocacy Center strengthens existing children's advocacy centers, and helps communities develop such centers, through training and technical assistance in 13 western states. 

A program of Safe Passage, located in Colorado Springs, the WRCAC provides training and technical assistance to centers in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington & Wyoming. More...

National Children's Alliance is a nationwide not-for-profit membership organization whose mission is to promote and support communities in providing a coordinated investigation and comprehensive response to victims of severe child abuse. NCA accredited members are Children's Advocacy Centers.

 

Western Regional Children's Advocacy provides resources to Child Advocacy professionals including a comprehensive resource library containing books, articles, guidebooks and videotapes. These items are available for checkout by professionals. Many items are available online, as listed below.

Training and technical assistance is provided by Western Regional Children's Advocacy Center to help establish and strengthen CACs in the 13 western states that make up the Western Region. As we work with communities to develop their own community based centers, we seek to provide the best possible training to all members of the multidisciplinary response to child abuse.
